This piece was created for Its Nice That ‘Locked In’ zine - a publication acknowledging all the amazing work that was being made, all over the world, from our homes!

How was the illustration used:
The illustration was included in the zine, alongside other brilliant artists, all reflecting on their isolation experiences.

How did you make this work:
The work was created using plasticine models, in a miniature set, reflecting my own personal “locked in” situation during the pandemic.

Biography:
I'm Kate, an Animation Director, Painter and Illustrator. I got into painting, drawing and making whilst studying Illustration at Falmouth University. When I'm not knees deep in clay or paint you'll find me feeding chickens. Originally from Australia, I spent ten years in the UK before moving to The Netherlands. Most recently landing back in Melbourne.
