Visual art can’t do much in the face of military aggression & tragic humanitarian crises. But it allows for the articulation of abstract concepts that go beyond the immediate reality. Given the current situation in Ukraine, I felt morally compelled to put aside commercial work & generate this image while hoping for timely poetic justice. Pencil sketch + vector & raster digital rendering + empathy.
Julian ‘Julinu’ Mallia is a Maltese visual artist specialising in idea-driven work.
