Nature is rough, natural and vivid. I always looked at nature as I lived in pursuit of something. The environment that reveals its own color was attractive. I reflected my feelings.
How was the illustration used: It was used as the cover for a novel by the German writer Juli Zeh in Korea. The novel is named New Year and is written in the background of Lanzarote.
How did you make this work: First, I sketched in watercolor drawings in Lanzarote. Then,I placed various drawings in one space. I wanted to create a rough natural texture. The coarse texture was scanned after penciling on coarse paper. The vivid feelings of nature are expressed digitally.
