I was commissioned to illustrate Marit Larsen's debut children's book by the Norwegian publisher Cappelen Damm.

The illustrations are selected from 'Where Agnes Lives' a children's book written by Marit Larsen and published by Cappelen Damm.
How did you make this work:
The artwork was first sketched out on paper then painted in Photoshop. I do most of my work digitally these days, but I always strive for a traditional quality. The palette was selected from the colours of the old apartment buildings in Oslo. Commissioner Name :

My inspiration comes from the wild Scandinavian landscapes folklore and design. I use bold colours, textures and shapes in my artwork. I’m is fascinated by the strong bond between humans, animals and nature.
