Just like me

Children's Publishing

Un-commissioned | New Talent

Why did you make this work:
I made this work during lock down, the purpose was to create a picture book that shows children how varied life is. While many aspects are the same, such as playing football, the way other things are different, like tropical rain. I wanted to create something that enabled children to travel and view the world on a personal level.

How was the illustration used:
The images sit along side a text for a picture book I have written.

How did you make this work:
I screen print my work in my home studio. The initial sketches were made using map crunch and memory drawings from my previous travels.
