Jane Scherbaum – Director at The Design Kollektiv

Jane Scherbaum has twenty-five years of experience devising and managing creative and branding projects and working with leading designers in the cultural sector. She now heads up her own design practice, The Design Kollektiv, where her clients include V&A/V&A Dundee, The British Library, The Courtauld Institute of Art, BAFTA, Leighton House Museum, Design Museum and The Ashmolean Museum.

Previously, as Head of Design at Tate, she oversaw the development of the world-renowned Tate brand and worked on projects with a long list of leading lights from the creative industries including Pentagram, Wolff Olins, and Herzog & de Meuron. Her management experience, strategic work and network grew during her tenure as Head of Design at the V&A.

At The Design Kollektiv Jane leads on design consultancy and strategy; planning and monitoring the design process and liaising with clients to ensure objectives are met. Her skill lies in establishing multi-disciplinary teams, bringing together designers, photographers, illustrators and specialists from her extensive network.

Jane will be judging the Design, Product and Packaging category.
