Why did you make this work:
It is triggered by my new personal experience. I found that the same world could be totally different when one's perception is freed from the routine and comfortable ways of seeing and being, and want to encourage more people to be open-minded and explore the undiscovered part about themselves.

How was the illustration used:
It is a book project about self-awareness and personal growth.

Jane is a freelance illustrator based in Shanghai and Newyork (recently only in Shanghai because of COVID-19). She graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and has spent one year at Syracuse University for the MFA program of Illustration. Now she is absent from school and working on her illustration career.
