| New TalentWhy did you make this work:
Living in the UK for 3 years, I could experience a very different life than in Korea where I am from. I wanted to look back on what this time meant to me. I also thought about how I would like to remember this period in the future. Therefore, I would like to make a series of illustrations about memorable landscapes and impressive moments to me in England.
How was the illustration used:
These are my personal work. I plan to make a picture book after more painting work with the same subject.
How did you make this work:
I usually use a lot of materials such as watercolours, colour pencils and acrylic because I like the freedom and unexpected effects of using a variety of materials. In this time, I chose each subject based on my observation and memory. I mainly focused on depicting my experiences and naturally showing cultural aspects as well.
