Illustration exploring the idea of mental health and dedicating a day of the week for self-care. Just as ironing is a weekly chore, looking after oneself should become a regular routine. The image can be interpreted in different ways, it can also represent the state of mental health when a person becomes dehumanized and becomes a subject of weekly chores.

One of the double spreads for a book proposal about mental health titled "Sunday is a Laundry Day" for university brief.
How did you make this work:
Linework made with charcoal pencil and scanned. Block of colours digitally added in Adobe Photoshop.
