Why did you make this work:
"Colour is scientifically proven to affect your mood. So, with the 2019 Jetta’s available 10-colour ambient interior lighting, you can choose the colour you want for the mood you want. In order to demonstrate how drastically colour can change an ambiance, I created a series of prints where one wrong colour has an impact on the whole scene’s atmosphere." x3 illustrations for print adverts.

How did you make this work:
The idea was to have clashing colours to really make the scenes stand out. I designed images to create a narrative that would go across double page spreads, and took a lot of care in placement and humour. These were created with a mix of large pencil layouts, ink textures and digital artwork.

Biography:
Jack is a freelance illustrator based in South West England. He has worked in a large variety of fields, including editorial, character design, comics, animation, storyboarding, poster/ product/ textile design. He has worked as a fulltime freelance illustrator since 2010 and has had his comics published by Nobrow Press, McSweeney's, and Retrofit Comics, and shown his paintings worldwide.
