New TalentWhy did you make this work:
This project was a private commission for a family to paint their piano at their home in London. They were interested in incorporating memories of warm family holidays and their love for the sun & sea, into their basement space through a piano mural. This was an opportunity for me to develop my illustrative style following my first piano mural for 'Leeds Piano Trail' in 2018.
How was the illustration used: Mural on upright piano.
How did you make this work: I used various water based paints to create the artwork and sealed the design using a satin varnish.

Biography:
Hannah Grace Woods is an aspiring illustrator/muralist born and raised in Hong Kong. After moving to England for university she studied BA Visual Communication at Leeds Arts University, and later achieved a master's degree in Illustration at Arts University Bournemouth in 2021. She uses abstract forms and symbolism to weave together many informational and conceptual strands within a piece.
