Strange but True

Children's Publishing

Commissioned | Professional

Why did you make this work:
The book would be 96 pages in length, with each chapter devoted to a different story. Each chapter would be 8 spreads long, and would be a mixture of full page plate illustrations and vignettes. It will set up the mystery at the beginning, then look at the various theories that exist, asking the reader to make up their own minds about what they think happened.

How was the illustration used:
Non fiction kids book

How did you make this work:
I painted everything by hand for this book mainly in Gouache but also some acrylic for some of the slightly more textured pictures. My process starts with painting then scanning that work in and then composing the illustration together on photoshop.
