Why did you make this work:
I was commissioned by Mollie Makes Magazine to create a set of papers for Chinese New Year. These illustrations were featured in the magazine issue 126.

How was the illustration used:
The readers may use these papers for their scrapbook project, origami, poster or any creative ideas.

How did you make this work:
These illustrations were created digitally with Procreate and Photoshop. Although the papers just need to reflect Chinese New year in my illustration style, I spent a lot of time taking inspiration from mind mapping.

Biography:
Gee Fan Eng is an illustrator who specializes in children’s book and art licensing. She founded her label, Minifanfan with the notion of making illustrations that make people happy. Happy Drawings for Happy People is Gee Fan’s motto and a mantra that she practices every day in her life and work. Her wonderfully stylized illustrations are endearing, inspirational, and speak to the heart.
