Why did you make this work:
I was contacted by Rabbit Hole Agency in Leeds, via Twenty Seven Twelve to produce 5 illustrated wall hangings for Mzllah, a coffee shop in Fujairah, owned by a high profile client. They wanted to replicate a vintage aesthetic, making a body of work that also felt contemporary, detailed, bold and iconographical. Depicting the animals in a light-hearted, humorous way.

How was the illustration used:
The Illustration was designed to become 5 1.4 x 2m large wall hangings to adorn the walls of the coffee shop in Fujairah. UAE

How did you make this work:
This work was produced on an iPad using Procreate, using various brushes to replicate a mixed media work. Each illustration took approximately 20 hours to complete. Using various brushes including etching, oil paint (at reduced opacity), ink pens and silkscreen/rolled ink textures I've made into brushes myself.
