Why did you make this work:
This project is a recording of a voyage that I took for self-discovery and self-realization. I was once struggling, confused and self-denying. I wanted to express the shining moment when I eventually realize the value and beauty of being myself. A pure creature is walking closer to me.

Biography:
Evie Zhu is a traveling illustrator. She earned her MA in illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2020. She is a nature lover and a big fan of animals. She also loves watching at the sky with a vacant mind, wondering if there is another utopia world. Evie provides illustrations for picture books, editorial works and lifestyle illustration journals.
