Why did you make this work:
This work was supposed to captivate images that reflect consciousness. The article covers questions like "Is the universe conscious?" "How would we know if a machine was conscious?" "What is consciousness like in other animals?" So I tried to reflect these questions from imagery in the artwork.

How was the illustration used:
Cover art for the magazine, and spot illustrations inside the internal pages.

How did you make this work:
I used Adobe Photoshop for the entire process.

Biography:
Eva Redamonti is an illustrator, musician and animator based in NYC, USA. She's worked with clients like NYT, Adobe, WIRED, Politico, Medium, & more. "Drawing for me is a positive place in my mind which is deeply personal and connected to my well-being. After Studying Music Composition at Berklee College of Music, I moved to New York and I now work here teaching, drawing, and making music."
