How were your illustrations used? :

How did you make this work:
I wrote myself a creative brief to illustrate book covers for my favourite books. To create the covers I started with a lino cut to form my black line work and then added colour digitally. I enjoy the mix of traditional and digital: the methodical carving of the lino cut and the immediacy of adding colour and editing digially.

Biography:
Ellie Rose is an illustrator and printmaker studying Illustration (BA) at UWE, Bristol. With a particular fondness for relief printing, Ellie combines traditional processes with modern digital methods, adding colour to her lino and screen prints with editing software. She is pursuing illustration work in publishing and editorial and enjoys personal projects centred around the natural world.
