Why did you make this work:
In the first lockdown, everybody was keen on flattening the curve. This worked quite well, but after the easing of the health regulations, the figures went up again. People got nervous and emotional because a second lockdown was coming.

How did you make this work:
Belgium just came out of a hard lockdown. Because of the easing of the health measures, we had tasted our freedom again. At the prospect of a second lockdown, people were nervous and frustrated. Our world would become a little smaller with every measure.

After I graduated in graphic design and advertising, I shifted my focus back to illustrating. I always strive for an image that goes hand in hand with the context. I try to keep experimenting with new forms and techniques. And this is why I love illustrating so much. I work and live in Kortrijk, Belgium.
