- Why did you create this work?
I created 6 illustrated labels for CANAL BRASIL's 25th anniversary beer. The collection includes the Brazilian films, Bacurau, Dzi Croquettes, A Vida Invisível and Cine Holliúdy, as well as the programs Larica Total and Choque de Cultura. All the compositions were designed with the logo in the center and there are secondary elements on the back of each can, which complement the institutional text. - How were your illustrations used?
As well as being the beer's official labels, the illustrations have been used in a variety of formats, digital and printed media, such as videos, posters, promotional products and events. - What materials and techniques did you use?
I watched all the productions to choose the right elements for the composition without using the actors' faces. To do this, I focused on the characters' attitudes, body types and costumes. Each can also has a bem-te-vi, a Brazilian bird, which is part of Canal Brasil's identity. The process included stages of sketching and testing the color palette. - Was this project commissioned?
