The French magazine L'Express ask for a cover for a special issue about the famous writer, philosopher and journalist french Albert Camus in the 60th anniversary of his dead. Albert camus is an Icon in France and the cover had to be shocking and respectful of the character. We chose the best photo and i did the illustration in my style.

How did you make this work: I'm usually doing the drawing line with ballpoint pen, and add textures, colors and other elements in Photoshop.

Initially an architecture student, David chose to study Fine Arts instead. After graduating with a degree in design, he continued to work in design, advertising and illustration.
