during confinement perhaps due to isolation and lack of human contact I began to work on the subject of intimacy, first in sexual scenes, moving to sensual, to the present illustration where there is a synthesis of opposites, attraction and resistance, domination and abandonment, sensuality and aggression.
How was the illustration used: It was for myself, posted on social media and made prints.
How did you make this work: I used only color pencils on paper, then I touched contrasts on Photoshop.

Biography:
Dani Torrent, Spain 1974. Painter, writer and illustrator, studied at Llotja school and University of Barcelona. He works mainly on youth literature and advertising. He won the prize of Fita Foundation of Girona, the second prize of the international drawing festival of Zabrze (Poland), the Manuel António da Mota (Portugal) or Junceda for best illustration for adults and shortlisted by the SOI.
