| ProfessionalWhy did you make this work:
To raise awareness for the fact that "We Are All Immigrants". I would love to see advertising becoming more political: Consumers would be empowered to make value-based decisions, brands forced to rethink. Social media is one of the main drivers to spread populism. We need to learn to use it carefully. The stage without show is to celebrate immigration, enriching cultures and economies.
How was the illustration used:
On social media: A private pitch for my personal idea for an imaginative advertising campaign, proposed to a fashion label via instagram.
How did you make this work:
First I soaked up the current atmosphere in Germany concerning the refugee debate. I did talk with different people, did some research, followed the news. Finally, I entered a discussion with that fashion label to reevaluate my own realities. After, I created sketches with pencil and the final artwork in Photoshop.
