The Twin Dogs

Children's Publishing

Commissioned | Professional

Why did you make this work:
This book’s theme is about sibling rivalry and I tried to tell the story through the little twin dogs’ view. The idea started when I met my friend’s daughter. She had been an only child, but with her baby brother about to being born. I hope readers to enjoy together with the twin dogs and experience the way to prepare a new sister/brother.

How was the illustration used:
Illustrations for a whole picture book.

How did you make this work:
I made images with using printmaking and combine them digitally with hand-drawn lines. With rich textures and playful lines, I tried to describe each character’s motions lively and humorously. Also, I tried to keep the colour consistency, as well as control them to suit each place and dogs’ emotions.
