This illustration was inspired by my hometown in Taiwan. Taiwanese used to do their grocery shopping at traditional supermarkets. This story happens on an afternoon, a cat wants to steal meat from a pork store.

Biography:
Hello, my name is Chia-Ni Wu, but you can just call me Jenny.I was born in Taiwan and grew up in a west town. I am an illustrator based in San Francisco. I studied in Visual Communication Design during college in Taiwan and then majored in MA Illustration in Academy of Art University in San Francisco.I create children’s books. Publishing my own children’s book is my dream in life, and I still working hard on that. The majority of my works are done by digital and some are by watercolor, but I am always learning and experimenting with new techniques.I consider myself a dog person and we do have a poodle named Sandy in my family. My favorite drink is coffee and my secret to staying relaxed and focused when I work is listening to jazz music.
