Why did you make this work:
My initial impression of ShanghaiI city was from the literature of Eileen Zhang. The work was inspired by her work ‘Blockade’, which not only outlines the commonplace of all beings but also depicts an out-of-normal temporal and spatial illusion. I intended to recreate the atmosphere of the era to raise the nostalgia for the old-time of this city.
