How did you make this work: My hometown Xinjiang is known for its cultural diversity, natural resources, and juicy fruits. I created these editorial illustrations from the articles that are commenting on the local charm and ethnic aesthetics. They are separately talking about the juicy fruits due to the huge temperature difference, the grand bazaar, the natural resources as a gift, cultural diversity, and inclusive market.

Biography:
Born and raised in Xinjiang, China, a city known for its cultural diversity, Bingjie “BJ” Cui is heavily influenced by ethnic aesthetics and the local spirit. The interesting jump between her ‘rational’ background in science and ‘emotional’ thinking in art allows her to create artwork that are corresponding to the literacy and texts.
