How did you make this work:
In ‘Jabberwocky’, Carroll conjures up a world of endless mystery and bizarre twists on the familiar; populating the land with the strangest plants and creatures, filling the air with pure wonder. And yet, it is also underpinned by a recognisable ballad form, following a brave hero on his quest to slay a monster. I wanted to capture both sides of the story in this cover image.

Biography:
Hey, I’m Billy, an illustrator based in the UK. Character and narrative are at the heart of my work, which often finds its home in the worlds of both commercial and published illustration. I’m currently writing and illustrating a new series of books for Nobrow’s children’s imprint ‘Flying Eye Books’, and also work as a freelance character artist for clients such as Spinmaster Entertainment.
