This portrait series is a tribute to a few of my favorite deceased musicians; Prince, Whitney Houston and Freddie Mercury, aspiring to visually capture some of the unique iconic essence of their music and persona.
How was the illustration used: For fun - to inspire myself and others, sold as prints on my online shop :)
How did you make this work: All images were digitally drawn with Ipad Procreate, starting out with a photo reference and then gradually abstracting them to a composition of shapes and colors.

Ayelet is a graphic artist from Israel, playing with shapes and colors to create original, vibrant visuals for various purposes. She studied graphic design and practiced it over a decade in various fields of the industry, nowadays working both with clients and independently creating art for art's sake - mainly about music, freedom and love.
