How did you make this work:
A little girl tries to understand the sea in all its complexity, mystery and strength, advised by her parents to respect it. She eventually comes to realize that we are both insignificant in front of this old and vast entity and bear responsibility to protect it. “Respect” can mean lots of different things at once, including friendship and admiration.

Biography:
André Carrilho (b. 1974) has worked as a graphic artist for over 30 years, collaborating with a wide list of publications that include The New York Times, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, New York Magazine, Los Angeles magazine, Wall Street Journal and The New Statesman. He has received more than 100 honours and awards as an illustrator and cartoonist.
