New TalentWhy did you make this work:
I created these pieces in order to talk about how climate change affects every aspect of our lives. For these animations, I decided to focus on winter sports and how some of them might disappear in a few years time (or at least they won't be the same).
Climate change isn't just an increase in global temperature: it will definitely affect our lives the way we know them if we don't take action.
How was the illustration used: I used these illustrations on my portfolio website and social media accounts so that people could share them.
How did you make this work: I first did a lot of research around this issue to think about ways that I could make "shareable" pieces of information. I then created the illustrations using Procreate and After Effects.
I also focused on creating resources that could be understood without any music/voiceover, since most people check their socials without turning the sound on (the original posts on my instagram do have music).
