Why did you make this work:
I am the author and illustrator of a fairy tale "The Moon Fish & the Moon". Therefore, it was a real creative challenge, it was real inspiration and joy for me to write a fairy tale and make illustrations for it. And now, I want to share inspiration and joy with you.

How was the illustration used:
This is an illustration for a children's book.

How did you make this work:
I made these illustrations using watercolor paper and watercolor paints. At the beginning of the search for the idea of composition, the search for color and character image, for each illustration I draw preliminary sketches on plain paper with colored pencils.

Biography:
Alexey Cherepanov, lives and works in Ukraine, in the city of Kharkov. He studied at the Kharkov Art Institute, at the department of easel graphics. After graduation, works in the field of book illustration. The main areas of work: these are illustrations for animal encyclopedias and books for children. He works with publishers from different countries.
