Why did you make this work:
Brief from Print Club London: "ONE. Submit a poster in your own style inspired by your favourite book, favourite author or even a favourite line from an iconic bookTWO. The catch is that, you cannot use the name of the book or author! Use of other text is allowed of course, but this should stand alone as an image/scene/typography."

How did you make this work:
The final image is a 4 colour, B2 size, screen print (that I printed myself!). I chose to visually interpret 'The Big Sleep' - Raymond Chandler. The lead character is always smoking cigarettes, and using matches to light them - so I wanted to use match boxes as a vehicle for my Illustration.
