How did you make this work:
I was comissioned to illustrate the cover and inside pages of Haruki Murakami's book "Abandoning a cat", in which the author writes about his memories of his father and their relationship from childhood to adult life, and how it influenced his writings. I was given a lot of freedom to create the artworks and tried to visually communicate the imprecise aspect of the memory as much as possible.

Biography:
Adriana Komura was born in São Paulo, Brazil. She has a BA degree in Publishing from University of São Paulo and has been working as a graphic artist and designer for advertising, animation, editorial and publishing. She was awarded a Merit prize at the 47th and 49th Society of Publication Design, and shortlisted for Prêmio Jabuti (2018), Illustration category.
