- Why did you create this work?
The majority of mollusks have weak to no vision, yet they form beautiful shells of all shapes and colors. Inspired by Italo Calvino's story "The Spiral", the image portrays the beauty mollusks created independent of vision, yet perceived by the constantly evolving eyes of other animals, sparking inspiration and imagination. - How were your illustrations used?
