Why did you choose to enter this work?
This project let us explore, grow, and share our vision. The competition offers a chance to help others and collaborate with like-minded artists and brands.
What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
We loved blending 2D and 3D elements to create an interactive space. It brought our vision of equality, freedom, and joy to life, providing a disconnecting from the chaotic reality.
What excites you most about being shortlisted?
Being shortlisted excites us because it validates our work and our artistic journey. It inspires us to keep evolving. If we win, it would greatly support our development as artists.
Where do you usually work?
We’re independent artists and neighbors by the sea. Our morning beach walks, where we discuss personal and social topics, inspire our projects, which we create in our apartments.
How long did it take to complete your project?
From brainstorming to the opening of the exhibition - about four months
What is your dream commission?
We dream of new opportunities to expand our art and illustrated world, and to be invited to create custom exhibitions designed for unique spaces.
What’s your favourite thing to draw?
We like to draw surreal, unconventional art, embracing 'perfection in imperfection' and finding beauty in what’s traditionally deemed 'wrong' to convey meaningful messages.
What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Stay true to your unique vision and let your creations emerge from your personal perspective. Art allows you to explore beyond reality and express your imagination freely.
What are your plans for the future?
Our vision is to continue to work together on a global scale, sharing our ideas, beliefs, art, and creativity with a broader audience around the world.
