Preferred Pronoun?
She/Her

What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
This project is very special to me, as much lgbtqia+ is celebrated, the better. It has also been recognized by the SOI 66 - NY. I'm very grateful to the Playbook US team for the trust and freedom.

What excites you most about being shortlisted?
WIA awards are a reference of quality and professional recognition by a totally independent and highly qualified jury, for which I'm super grateful and proud to have been shortlisted.

Where do you usually work?
My workspace is a separate room in my house. My studio is full of books and objects that inspire me. I use the ipad, a laptop in a desktop layout and a wacom tablet. The entire studio is very bright.

How long did it take to complete your project?
This project took about a month and a half to complete. But other ones take from one day to several months.

What is your dream commission?
A campaign to help women and minorities around the world to contribute to social justice and human rights, daily issues, etc. I'm also really into packaging: Physical objects may be fascinating.

What’s your favourite thing to draw?
Definitely people, of all kinds, ethnicities, conditions, body types... but also food, fun objects, lettering, COLOUR really matters to me... many things, I really love this job!!!

What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Keep doing no matter what, and ask for feedback as much a possible (take or leave it but it can potentially open some eyes in my opinion)

What are your plans for the future?
I do enjoy what I do, so if I can keep doing it, I consider myself really privileged. I'm also keen in creating more personal artworks, without a commercial purpose, just for fun and fulfilment.
