Pixin is born in 1983 and grew up in sunny Singapore, an island city located along the equator.
She divides her time between facilitating art workshops for children and working on her comics and art. Her debut graphic novel, Sweet Time, published by Drawn & Quarterly in 2020, contains a selection of her comic works made between 2008 – 2017, capturing themes of love and desire, in her interest to understand the tension between disconnection and seeking connectedness. Her second graphic novel, “Let’s Not Talk Anymore” was published in 2021.
Pixin loves nighttime rainfalls, reading non-fiction books, and eavesdropping on sing-song conversations of the toads who live right below her apartment.
