Sue Clarke graduated from St. Martins School of Art in 1989 with a 1st class BAHons in Illustration, and has been a practicing illustrator and lecturer ever since.Sue has worked for a broad client list across editorial, design, advertising, and book publishing (including children?s pop up books), in the UK, USA, Spain, Italy, Germany, Japan and Holland. Clients include: Time magazine, Wall St. Journal, The Guardian, The Times, The Telegraph, Penguin Books, Walker Books, Hyperion, The Royal Festival Hall, Nat West, Amnesty International etc…. She also previously worked as a textile designer alongside Illustration, producing collections for printed textiles in Japan and the USA, and has exhibited in various contemporary Illustration shows.She has taught on a range of courses (Art Foundation, BA, and MA Illustration), for a number of Universities, including Kingston University, St. Martins School of Art, and Brighton University, and recently worked as External Assessor for Hull School of Art and Design.She is currently a senior lecturer on the BA Illustration Course at Falmouth University, and continues to balance lecturing with her own practice.
