I’m an illustrator and writer working on my debut picture book for Tate Publishing. A 2019 graduate from the MA Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art, I’ve previously drawn pictures for BBC Radio 4, 3 and 2, and worked extensively as a digital producer of websites, films and TV ads before turning to illustration.
Although I feel quite sad about the state of the world, my work aims to delight, amuse, and make people think. Working with traditional materials like ink, coloured pencil, wax and pastel, and methods such as offset lithography, monoprint, Illustrator and Photoshop, I explore what it means to be human.
I was a finalist for the Batsford Prize in 2019.
I also produce animation.
