Tania Lyons (a.k.a. Riniapple) is an emerging Japanese Canadian illustrator based in Calgary, Canada. She develops marketable narrative illustrations in areas such as children’s literature, fashion, advertising, and editorial illustration. In her work, she demonstrates a mastery of the digital watercolor medium and detailed line work. She especially enjoys incorporating her Japanese heritage in her illustrations.

I am passionate about storytelling through illustration and calling attention to the humble beauty of everyday life. I achieve this with a sensitivity toward color and by capturing the subtle expressions of people in my work.
