Rachel launched her freelance career in January 2015. In the summer of 2015 she produced over 25 illustrations for the Society for Underwater Technology’s children’s book ‘Can a Lobster be an Archaeologist? Quirky Questions and Fascinating Facts about the Underwater World’.
Currently, she is working with Tir Na Nog Heritage Education Partnership to deliver an illustrated education pack for the National Lido of Wales in Pontypridd. She has also created education materials for the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum.
Rachel lives with her husband and two sons in Gloucestershire. When she’s not working she enjoys making up crochet patterns and trying to grow vegetables in the one sunny spot in her north-facing garden. She’s quite good at the crochet, not so good at the veg.
