I´m Marta Lanuza, a multidisciplinary Spanish illustrator, behind the pseudonym Mempathie, which is born from the reflection of my personal imprint with the M of Marta and one of my main values to transmit and achieve with my work: ’empathie’ (empathy in French); to be able to make the viewer feel what I tell visually.
Sensitive Illustration describes my creative process, focused on the sensations and emotions that things transmit to us and for which I use the psychology of color, symbology and conceptualization as tools of visual language.
My work explores themes of introspection and socio-cultural reflection on the environment that surrounds us, wanting to help us understand and connect with the ideas that most transform us as a society and people. In addition, I use analog or digital techniques, earthy textures, reminiscent of nature and painting, both for static and moving images.
I have a degree in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and specialize in Creative Illustration and printing techniques for different surfaces (See CV).
