Lea is a botanical artist primarily focusing on shape and light. Lea works in watercolours and uses muted colours, often in 2D, to simplify the shape and structure of the plant of flower. Inspired by the hedgerows and flowers surrounding her home-studio in Hay-on-Wye, Lea adds new artworks as the seasons change.
Lea also creates repeating patterns from her illustrations that can be adapted for a wide-range of textile, packaging and design needs.
She sells prints and cards via her website www.BotanicalArtElements.com and is available for commissions. All artworks and patterns are available for licensing.
