I was born in London in 1976. I started drawing pictures every day in 1980 and have done so ever since. I got my first paycheque for illustration in 1993 and never looked back. I took a three year sabbatical in 1997 to do a BA honours degree in illustration. I had a lot of fun, got a 2.1 and made some good friends and opened up some new avenues when I went back to freelance in 2000. I have worked for many clients, from the BBC to the individual who wanted a nice picture on their living room wall. I have worked on magazine illos, comics, interactive, advertising, character design and concept art. From around 2002 I’ve storyboarded hundreds of TV commercials plus a few animations and music promos, as well as editorial work and, most recently, comic book art. A strong element of my work focuses on people, the figurative and character design.
