Vane Julian’s work is made by nature elements, fantasy, surrealism and colours. She plays with the communicative part of the images, focusing on the conceptual value.
She is a visual artist specialised in illustration, mural art and moving image.
Besides working on personal projects She works on both small and large-scale projects, collaborate and work with other artists and also deliver community workshops for children.
She combines hand drawing and digital technologies. However, manual sketching and drawing remains for her one of the most versatile tool for her work.
She has worked in a big scale projects such as the illustration – installation for one of the major neurology hospital (Walton Centre NHS) in Liverpool (uk), and the Illustration – installation in Brighton (uk) in one of the most important streets of the city.
She studied Fine Arts in Spain and a MA in Illustration and Moving Image in Manchester.
Vane Julian is working as a freelance for several years, being involved in projects both in England and Spain. She is based in Manchester (UK) but originally She comes from the Mediterranean coast of Spain.
