Hi, I’m Cameron.
I am a freelance Illustrator & Designer working primarily within the music industry.
After graduating from studying Illustration at Arts University Bournemouth, I’m now based in London and work frequently with the likes of So Young Magazine, Chess Club Records, The 100 Club, Team Management, Dirty Hit Records and many other artists and independent businesses and venues.
I’ve produced artwork, posters and music videos for the likes of The Charlatans, Sports Team, Black Honey, Alfie Templeman, Phoebe Green, Elder Island and many many more
(full list available here).
I work in various mediums including retro-infused psychedelic illustrations, mixed-media collage and pop art, whilst taking inspiration from artists such as Peter Blake, Tadanori Yokoo and Milton Glaser.
Though I work mainly digitally across Photoshop & ProCreate I have a penchant for aging my designs with a wide arsenal of paper textures and distressing techniques to emulate the gritty imperfections of the handprinted posters and artworks of yesteryear.
I can often be found lacing his work with symbolism, easter eggs and recurring motifs so that regardless to how often my visual style may change (which is very often) there remains these little breadcrumbs tying my portfolio together. These breadcrumbs can include certain numbers, words, phrases, colours and objects, most notably the number 43 and my pessimistic, signature motto ‘Give Up On Your Dreams’.
