I am an illustrator based on the south coast of Ireland. I trained in fine art printmaking at Glasgow School of Art, specialising in screen printing, which I loved, and I think that this still informs my drawing style today. I use a variety of media in my finished illustrations, although most of the work is done digitally, and I’m not really much of a painter! I’m inspired by everything I see; nature, fashion, films, graphic novels and more, and I love using really fresh and juicy colour in my work.
I have been designing for the lovely people at Moda Fabrics since 2012, releasing two or three collections a year into the children’s market.
Other clients include: Target, Usborne Books, Child’s Play Publishing, Scholastic, American Greetings, Seller’s Publishing, Mohawk, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Enchante, Jillson & Roberts, Parragon Books, Peter Pauper Press, International Greetings and Robert Kaufman.
