An evening with illustrator, author & educator Lizzy Stewart as she shares about making illustrated books for children and adults.

Join us for an evening (online) with award winning illustrator, author and educator Lizzy Stewart as she shares about making illustrated books for children and adults. We’ll hear more about the different processes involved, balancing text and image, and how her picture books and illustrated novels feed into one another.

As usual, there will be plenty of time for Q&A after the talk. We would love to hear from you!

Lizzy Stewart is an illustrator and author currently based in London. She has written and illustrated three picture books for children and three illustrated books for adults. Her debut full-length novel ‘Alison’ was published in July 2022. She teaches illustration at Goldsmiths University and has also taught courses at the Tate and on behalf of the National Portrait Gallery.

The AOI Children’s Picture books meet-up welcomes illustrators at all stages of development – from those just starting out, graduates early in their career, more established illustrators and authors or anyone with a passion for picture books!
