Friends of the Earth, in association with theprintspace, have launched an open call for submissions for their upcoming Art of Activism group exhibition.
The curators are looking for artworks that embody how people feel about the climate crisis. The brief suits many alternative mediums from painting to graphic design & illustration to photography. The only criteria is the artworks should be digitally submitted and printed in the style and size of a placard for protest action, so anything from A3 to A1. Everything will be printed on sustainable Bamboo papers.
Submissions are already open! They close on Sunday 1st September at midnight. The curation process will result in a large-scale exhibition at theprintspace gallery in Shoreditch, opening on 19th September 2019. Alongside the exhibition Friends of the Earth will host a series of insightful and informative talks, featuring prominent climate change experts.
This is your chance to be part of a major exhibition, alongside world-class artists, to see your work published across global media & harness the power of art to affect positive change for the future of our planet!
