The British Copyright Council (BCC) is offering the chance to brush up on the basics of UK copyright in 100 minutes. This event is ideal for all creators starting out on their careers or for anyone in the sector seeking a refresher on how copyright protects creative works and creator livelihoods. Presented by Florian Koempel, the BCC’s international copyright consultant and an experienced lecturer, and featuring a segment on performers’ rights from Andrew Prodger, CEO of the British Equity Collecting Society (BECS), the seminar promises a jargon-free introduction to the principles of copyright in a relaxed setting. To be followed by Q&A and refreshments to 7.30pm.
Places are limited, so please book early. Tickets £12.
The BCC is grateful to BECS for hosting this seminar.
